Carl Harvey’s session, “AASL Update”

Description: will be leadership and focused on AASL news and resources.

Carl hopes attendees will be able to: Will come away with knowledge of what AASL does for school librarians across the United States.

Jan W. learned “more about AASL that I did not know, even as a member” and plans to “go explore the website and maybe sign-up for LISTSERV.  I will look at Crosswalks again.”

Patricia O. learned “about the database for lessons based on AASL standards created by SLMs and vetted by AASL professionals – Jack Pead (helped with lib. funding) – SLMQ online – CCC Walk alignment – Best apps coming” and plans to “search the lesson plan database and check out the advocacy brochures.”  She comments, “I have used the 25 Best Websites.”
